Russia and Ukraine have agreed to a short term transit agreement of 65 bcm/y from 2020-2021, with a reduction to 40 bcm/y in 2021-2025. This will allow Russia to meet pipeline gas demand as it tries to complete the now delayed Nordstream 2 and ramp up of Turkstream pipeline volumes.
