LONDON (October 8, 2020) - FGE is pleased to announce that Ms. Sarah Behbehani, former Senior-Vice President LNG, JERA Global Markets, has joined our exclusive list of Distinguished Associates.
Sarah Behbehani is an experienced energy leader with an exceptional global network. In her last role, Sarah was tasked with establishing the LNG desk for JERA Global Markets. She was responsible for building the overall LNG desk structure including recruiting talent, leading the overall LNG growth strategy and oversight of trading, optimisation and risk management.
Prior to JERA GM, Sarah led Shell’s LNG trading business in the west for 8 years. She led the integration of Repsol and BG’s LNG portfolio into Shell, growing Shell’s trading activities in the Middle East and Atlantic Basin.
Sarah has more than 20 years of experience in Oil and LNG trading and marketing and has served roles in the Kuwait, London, Dubai and Singapore. She is passionate about diversity in trading teams and led the female community in LNG. She graduated with a degree of Mechanical and Aerospace engineering from the United States and then obtained an MBA from London Business School.
